International Staff Week on the “Best Practices in Internationalization”

With 15 participants from all over Europe, a week of training dedicated to academic, technical and administrative staff has come to an end

With 15 participants from all over Europe, a week of training dedicated to academic, technical and administrative staff has come to an end. Promoting the best practices of European universities and developing their internationalization strategies, whether it is by attracting excellent international students to our degree programmes or by creating international study pathways at prestigious international institutions for our university students. It is with this objective that the International Staff Week on the “Best Practices in Internationalization” took place from the 19th – 23rd June, organised by the International Office as a part of the Erasmus+ programme, which provides annual funding for the training of academic, technical and administrative staff.

The 15 participants, coming from universities in Romania, Poland, Portugal, Lithuania, Greece, Scotland, Germany and the Czech Republic, had the possibility to discuss the best practices in the international field applied in various European universities as well as worked together in groups to focus on International Cooperation, International Promotion and Job Placement.

The participants also attended workshops organised by the department of Philology, Literature and Linguistics, the department of Economics and Management and from the Student Affairs Office.
