UNIVERSITY FUNDS
The University allocates a portion of its budget (University Funds) to promoting the quality of research produced by its researchers. These funds are distributed to departments following an internal evaluation process regarding the quality of research produced by each University researcher. All research documentation is available on the ARPI University Research Archive.
The evaluation is conducted by Area Scientific Commissions, made up of University researchers representing the 14 scientific areas which group together all the scientific disciplines.
The allocation of University Funds therefore constitutes individual financial support for each UNIPI researcher. Funds are awarded proportionate to the outcome of the evaluation and are to be allocated to carrying out further research activities.
