For the 2024-2025 a.y. the University of Pisa allocates 17 Merit scholarships (one for each degree programme held in English).
The scholarship consists of:
- First year of Programme: 6 thousand and 500 euros gross and a full exemption from the tuition fees - except for the Regional tax of € 140 and the revenue stamp of € 16.00 - marca da bollo. In addition, you can also apply for the DSU scholarship.
- Second year of Programme: 8 thousand euros gross and a reduction of 50% of the tuition fees if the student has reached at least 36 CFU (credits) by 31 October 2025 (no minimum grade is required). The payment of the Regional tax of € 140 and the revenue stamp of € 16.00 - marca da bollo are due.
- Third year of Programme (only for BSc): 8 thousand euros gross and a reduction of 50% of the tuition fees if the student has reached at least 96 CFU (credits) by 31 October 2026 (no minimum grade is required). The payment of the Regional tax of € 140 and the revenue stamp of € 16.00 - marca da bollo are due.

Here you can find the official ranking list for the 2024-2025 academic year. Please, note that the number does not refer to the position in the ranking. In case of scrolling, winners students will be notified by e-mail.
Eligibility and application submission
International students do not have to apply. All admitted students who applied for a study program held in English, according to the deadline of each degree programme, are eligible.
After the deadline specified by each degree program, students who apply are no longer eligible.

Each degree programme selected the best candidates after evaluating the following factors:
- Evaluation of the Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Result of the interview
- CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average)
