From Monday 9 March 2020 the starting of new incoming and outgoing mobilities is suspended, either in the frame of Erasmus+ Program and any other international mobility program.
In the application of the force majeure principle, in compliance with the general regulatory framework of the Erasmus + program and other international mobility programs, is also suspended:
- the starting of all curricular and extracurricular traineeships of outgoing students;
- the performance of all curricular and extracurricular traineeships of incoming students, providing the necessary communications to the project partners, as per the relevant bilateral agreements.
To avoid exposure to contagion, students, trainees and staff currently in mobility are invited not to return to their home countries but to stay in their lodgings refraining from all social contacts.
They should also comply with the local health and government authorities' indications. If different bilateral agreements between the ministries of the respective countries exist, please comply;
The students, trainees or staff currently on mobility can return to the home country, justified with the force majeure principle upon individual request. Should this occur, the agreements between the Italian Foreign Affairs Ministry MAECI and your home country authority should be respected (please consult the crisis unit of your home country embassy or consulate) and always ensuring the compliance with national provisions on the movement of people during the Covid-19 emergency.
