The University of Pisa adheres to the principles of responsible research and open access to research results, and supports their development, in compliance with the protection of intellectual property.
The Research and Technology Transfer Services Department promotes training and provides information on open access for teaching and administrative staff and offers information and advice on requirements regarding open access to research products and data. It also supports the work of the University Commission for open access to scientific literature.
Information and updates on Open Science are provided through the Pills of Open Science column published in the European and International Research Newsletter.
The University of Pisa houses and makes available all publications and documentation on the scientific research products of its teaching staff in the ARPI Research Archive, in compliance with the OpenAIRE guidelines and the related mission:
