IYT Scholarship 2025/2026
An IYT grant includes
- A scholarship of € 1,000 net for 9 months
- Exemption from tuition fees
- Free Italian language course
- In-company training
It does not include: Regional Tax for the Right to University studies, duty stamp; any expense related to injury and third-party liability insurance; health insurance.
Who can apply
Students coming from the following countries: Armenia • Azerbaijan • Brazil • Colombia • Egypt • Ethiopia • Ghana • India • Indonesia • Iran • Kazakhstan • Mexico • People’s Republic of China • South Korea • Tunisia • Turkey • Vietnam.
Students must also:
- be born on or after the 1st of January 1998 (call 2024/2025)
- hold a University qualification eligible for the enrolment in the selected Master’s Degree program;
- possess a certification of English proficiency equivalent minimum to a B2 level within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. IELTS, TOEIC and TOEFL are recommended.
Scholarships are awarded to students accepted by the study programs subscribed to Invest Your Talent in Italy:
- Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering (LM)
- Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering (LM)
- Master of Science in Bionics Engineering (LM)
- Master of Science in Computer Engineering (LM)
- Master of Science in Cybersecurity (LM)
- Master of Science in Data Science and Business Informatics (LM)
- Master of Science in Economics (LM)
- Master of Science in Exploration and Applied Geophysics (LM)
- Master of Science in Materials&NanoTechnology (LM)
- Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering (LM)
- Master of Science in Technology and Production of Paper and Cardboard (LM)
Application and required documents
Students interested to scholarships must apply separately for:
- The scholarship, on the Farnesina web site
- The admission to the courses of study chosen from those submitted to the program
Only students admitted to the chosen program will be able to benefit from the Invest Your Talent in Italy scholarship if they are the winners.
Candidates must provide the following documents:
- university transcript of all the exams and grades*;
- a certificate of the first-cycle degree qualification (Bachelor’s Degree) *;
- a motivation video (not exceeding one minute);
- CV;
- English language certificate;
- Italian language certificate. It is not mandatory, but, if submitted, it will be evaluated, and a score will be assigned;
- a valid passport.
*(Documents in English, Spanish and French language are accepted)
Application submission
The online application for a.y. 2025/2026 is not open yet.
Results
In mid-June, students will be notified of the results at the email address provided during the registration procedure.
Incompatibility
The student who wins the IYT scholarship cannot benefit from other contributions allocated by the University of Pisa.
