Erasmus Programme
Erasmus+ is the EU's funding programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life.
Erasmus+ supports students and staff mobility, and fosters cooperation opportunities among University across Europe.
The University of Pisa has an Erasmus charter (2021-2027) in place to participate in the Erasmus+ programme and accepts students as part of an organized study exchange with one of the University’s partner institutions or through an arranged traineeship.
Incoming study mobility
If you wish to take on an Erasmus study period at the University of Pisa, you need first to check if there is a current Institutional Agreement in place between your University and our departments. Contact your home institution to find out if an agreement with the University already exists and to get information about the nominations procedure. Then, get in touch with the Erasmus Departmental Coordinator of your interest.
Incoming traineeship mobility
Erasmus traineeship does not need an Institutional Agreement between your University and our departments. Our departments are fully organized to fulfil all administrative purposes and be responsible for you throughout your stay. Therefore, kindly contact the relevant Erasmus Departmental Coordinator directly to see if they are interested, and if so to discuss what the traineeship might involve.
